Description
Join the limb loss support network for an educational and family fun filled day! This annual 5k will raise money for Kentwood Parks and Recreation's adaptive programs and provide community, education, and support to amputees, their families, and the community. We are excited to provide this exciting event in Kentwood. Registration fee will get you a long sleeve shirt, swag bag, and race entry. Refund Policy:
There will be no refunds for this race even if the event has to be cancelled. Our ultimate goal is to hold this wonderful community event but if unforeseen conditions do cause a cancellation be assured that any funds collected will support next year's event and other accessible programs provided by the City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department.
WEATHER UPDATE: APRIL 26 AT 3:00PM
Despite the chance of rain in the forecast, we are moving forward with the Mary Free Bed Prosthetics Limb Loss Awareness 5k as planned. The event will be held rain or shine. Packet pick up begins at 9 a.m. and the race will start at 10 a.m. We look forward to seeing all our race participants and volunteers tomorrow!
